A Second Chance to Fight the NC Affiliate Tax

A bill has been introduced into the NC legislature to repeal the affiliate-nexus language requiring companies who earn more than $10k from affiliates in a year from having to collect sales tax.

And of course, a repeal in NC could dramatically impact the passage of similar legislation in states where it’s still being considered.

If you want to…

Why am I asking if you’re an NC resident and (if you are) your city?

Legislators care first and foremost about voters who can re-elect them. So we’ll be much more effective if I can quickly reach out to people in a certain city when a legislator needs a little extra persuasion before a key vote or a newspaper wants to do a story featuring a local resident…and I won’t have to email the whole list about it.

Just to be clear,  I will never share the list or your information with anyone else or bombard you with any kind of offers. This list is solely for the purpose of fighting the affiliate tax and any other hare-brained anti-Internet marketing bills NC may come up with.
