Migraine Pain Squeeze Page [PDF version] — Short landing page copy offering a free report to get visitors to sign-up for this chiropractor’s email list. We chose migraines as the focus because it was a common issue among his patients and one that his approach had been quite successful with.
Energy & Mindset Revolution Landing Page [PDF version] — Molly needed a landing page for an exclusive high-end coaching program for small business owners. The goal was to have the prospect contact her for an appointment so she could qualify them and close the sale by phone.
Since visitors were were already familiar with her–driven to the page from teleseminars and her own email list–we kept the focus on the prospects and the program, rather than going into detail about who she was.
AMT Individual Sales Page [PDF version] — This sales page is for a new online software to calculate and minimize the alternative minimum tax (AMT), which makes the regular income tax look like a kindergarten game.
So, we had to battle that perception while assuring prospects that the software was fast and easy to use, even if you have no tax knowledge, secure, and wouldn’t land them in hot water with the IRS.
Sales Management Blueprint Sales Copy [pdf version] — Krista had been delivering this training course in-person to companies in the independent office product retailer industry for years.
This page was designed to spark sign-ups for a new, online-only format she was offering–a better fit for the tighter training budgets and increasing reluctance to take sales people off the road for several days.
Website Copy
Appreciative Living Home Page [HTML] — When you have a website focused on helping people create a more joyful life, you need a home page that makes them feel, well, “at home.” The original copy just didn’t do that.
The new copy fixes this while striving to establish a rapport with the visitor and building that all-important know, like and trust factor. And of course, it focuses on getting them to join the email list. In fact, opt-ins doubled on the home page after the new copy was posted.
Clinical Linkages HAI Program Page [HTML] — Lisa was launching a new program to help hospitals reduce the number of health-care acquired infections. My job was to write copy that would persuade audience of head nurses and administrators to schedule a program at their location.
During the process, I recommended she add 3 more steps to her program that would ensure her client’s follow-through and enhance the effectiveness of her program. While the extra time she’d need to spend was relatively small, the extra steps doubled the value of the program…and enabled her to double the fee.
K. Coaching Website [HTML] — The goal was to create a website that generates more sales, appointments, and speaking requests for this sales trainer. She also wanted to broaden her market beyond the industry she’d long focused on, without alienating those companies.

Math Monkey Birthday Celebration Promotion [PDF version] — This series of 3 emails was designed to get current customers, past customers and prospects into the center with the goal of increasing sign-ups for the summer camps and summer classes. I came up with the Gamesapalooza concept and drafted the emails.
The owner was thrilled with the results–in the end, 29% of recipients attended the Saturday afternoon event, 10% signed up on-the-spot for either a camp or classes, another 2% made appointments to find out more, and the center sold $550 in games.
Kwikbinder New Customer Series [PDF version] — Too many customers were signing-up for this insurance referral system but never got around to using it–which put a damper on renewal rates and referrals. So, we created a series of autoresponder emails to educate and motivate them to get started.

Inches-A-Weigh Direct Mail Package [PDF version] — The client wanted a package to promote Inches-A-Weigh’s comprehensive weight loss program for significantly overweight women.
It was mailed to prospects who responded to an offer for a free report on weight loss. The existing report, the DVD of member testimonials, and printed brochure explaining their system was to accompany by the sales letter, lift note and additional insert that I wrote.

T. Rowe Price IRA [PDF Version] — This self-mailer was sent to encourage the prospect to rollover their 401(k) account to the company’s IRA.
Corporate Escape Coach Postcard [PDF Version] — Created copy for a postcard to be distributed at a conference (not mailed), promoting the client’s special report.

Ending Migraine Pain Report [PDF Version] — Free 14-page report given as incentive to opt-in to mailing list and convince readers to call the office for a complimentary 15-minute Migraine Correction consultation.
Corporate Escape Coach Special Report [PDF Version] — I created this special report based on an interview with the client. As a result, list opt-ins increased more than 230%.

Dolly Varden Alaska Video Script [PDF Version] — Wrote promotional copy for an online video for Dolly Varden Travel’s video firm, Digital Buddha Studios. In this video, the words in the script were to be overlaid on graphic images instead of spoken.
