When They Want Something for Nothing & Filet for Free
If you’ve ever gotten push-back from prospects about your prices, you’re going to LOVE this video.
There are too many good lines for me to pick a favorite.
But seriously, it underscores how important it is to effectively communicate the value of what you do so you can avoid these types of situations!
By the way, if you like this you may like the follow-up post Are You a Taco Stand? which has the video plus some thoughts on how not to be, well, a taco stand!

Everyone who’s been in business even for a little while has been in these situations, often before a sale is ever made. Thanks for the smiles and for the reminder to simply send people to the taco stand when necessary.

You’re welcome. Sometimes you’ve just got to laugh about it!

I LOVE this whole video, but I have to say my favorite part is at the end when the guy says “I want you show me how to do this so I can make this on my own from now on.” You could have added, “And tell me who all YOUR vendors are too, so I can go to them directly!” Thanks for making me laugh out loud!

As dedicated and passionate professionals, we WANT to help our clients and thier brands– but indeed this video was so funny and unfortunately too true about our biz. Here’s to continuing to educate clients about the absolute and total effectiveness of our profession. Thanks. This made my day. Maybe even my week.

I’m so glad everyone’s enjoying the video–wish I could say I made it! Sometimes you just gotta laugh at the absurdity.
It’s hard to pick a favorite line because there are so many good ones, but I think it may be “Cow.”
